A group of 20 Oamaru children used their fingerprints to create art at the Oamaru District Library yesterday.
The first of three activities hosted by the Oamaru Library, North Otago Museum and Forrester Gallery this week, ''Inky Imaginations'' saw children use their fingers and some imagination to create their own inky creatures.
''It's good fun and it's really self-directed,'' Waitaki District Libraries youth librarian Fiona Kerr said.
Pictured are (from left) Holly Foster, Atlanta Williams and Bella Moriarty (all 6), with inky fingers.
