Afternoon drinking has resulted in a court appearance for an Oamaru woman.
A police spokeswoman said police were alerted to the 34-year-old’s driving by concerned members of the public on Monday.
She was stopped in Wansbeck St at 4.50pm, and recorded a breath-alcohol level of 993mcg.
Her licence was suspended for 28 days and she will appear in the Oamaru District Court on August 11.
