The Queenstown branch of Amalgamated Builders Ltd (ABL) has been awarded the contract to build Shotover Primary School.
The company's Central Otago manager, Karsten Pedersen, said ABL had already started work with the school's Ministry of Education-appointed project manager.
The company had been on site since yesterday.
