The sponsor confirmed the majority of the Teva International bike roster will wing their way to Queenstown to meet New Zealand team members Kelly McGarry and Conor MacFarlane for the second slopestyle event on the Ballarat St car park.
There is a $10,000 prize pool. Competitors include Cam McCaul, who filled third place at the Red Bull Joyride last year, and Kurt Sorge, Red Bull Rampage winner last year. Both are from the United States.
Among other notables are Great Britain's Sam Pilgrim, who gained five first-place results in the 2012 season; Canada's Sam Dueck, known for his hyper extended tricks and a crowd favourite at last year's event; and Australia's Benny Phillips, winner of last year's competition and on the comeback from injury.
McGarry said in a statement the 2013 Teva Slopestyle in Queenstown was shaping up well.
''We are beefing up the course, throwing some new elements in and looking forward to having some big guns from the Teva International team heading over for the comp,'' he said.
''The crowd will be able to look forward to world-class riding and some pretty wild stuff going down under lights on the night of the comp.''
