The new managers of the Glendhu Bay Lakeside Holiday Park, beside Lake Wanaka, are busy ''bringing the camp back to life'' in readiness for ''an onslaught'' of campers on Boxing Day.
Vicky and Mark Ordish are originally from Masterton but have spent the past four years living in a bus while touring the South Island working in camp grounds at Omarama and Golden Bay.
They spent one previous seven-month period as assistant managers at Glendhu Bay, and were appointed two months ago as managers by the new lessees of the Queenstown Lakes District Council-owned camp.
