Queenstown tourism operators Art Adventure, Guided Walks New Zealand and Peppers Beacon Resort will unveil some of the 78 new tourism products on the market at Trenz next month.

New and established products and experiences will be sought by 314 international travel buyers plus media delegates for their consumers at home, from May 7 to 10.

Twenty-seven of the 271 New Zealand tourism operators exhibiting at Trenz will be attending for the first time.

Art Adventures targeted affluent international visitors "so the opportunity to meet overseas agents and buyers at Trenz will be very beneficial, particularly since Art Adventures is a new business and I am new to the game", managing director Alice Blackley said in a statement.

"Future bookings are what I really want to get out of attending Trenz. My business is niche and focused on quality, not quantity.

"It is unique to Queenstown, so Trenz is the window of opportunity, allowing me to introduce Art Adventures to the people who can help in circulating my business abroad."

Guided Walks New Zealand would bring a new interactive survival experience product to the expo.

"You vs Wild" was a version of the popular television series which would give visitors the opportunity to experience what it was like to survive off the land, make a fire and use the sun and stars as a compass.

Peppers Beacon Resort, part of the luxury accommodation Peppers Group, would promote the completion of its $1 million refurbishment where the priority was to use Southern or Canterbury suppliers wherever possible, to support businesses and communities affected by the earthquakes.
