Flights at Queenstown Airport have been affected by heavy fog in the Wakatipu area this morning.
In a tweet around 11am the airport said ''it's pea soup out there! Fog affecting Chch flights - details on our website.
Conditions in the resort are affecting motorists as well - the QLDC is warning that widespread frosts could lead to ice on the roads, and advises people to drive with care.
