21 measles cases in resort

Another measles case has been confirmed in Queenstown, taking the total number of cases to 21.

Of the 21 cases, 20 were Queenstown residents and one was a visitor from Auckland.

Southern District Health Board medical officer of health Dr Susan Jack asked everyone to remain vigilant for symptoms of the disease, and for those with symptoms to isolate themselves to prevent spreading the disease.
