Fifty pupils from nine secondary schools were presented with the $2500 scholarships last week.
Pupils applying for the scholarships must be between 16-19 and have lived in the CLT region for at least two years at the time of application.
The selection criteria considers various factors including the applicant's academic record, all-round qualities and achievements.
CLT chairman Tony Hill said a total of $926,500 had been awarded through the programme to 384 pupils to help with their tertiary studies.
