Major night-time roadworks will begin in Queenstown on October 14, and last about a month.
NZ Transport Agency maintenance contract manager Mark Stewart said the Aspiring Highways would do the work, on State Highway 6A between Frankton Rd and Stanley St, between 8pm and 6am, Sunday to Thursday.
The majority of the work, between the BP roundabout and Perkins Rd, would include removing traffic islands and kerbing, road repairs and resurfacing.
