Queenstown Lakes District Mayor Jim Boult (right) officially cut the ribbon of the 3900sq m chain store in Five Mile shopping centre, Frankton, at 8am.
Store manager Mark Dolley (left) thanked staff for their support during relocation and said he was "excited" to finally get the doors open.
The Warehouse was previously in Remarkables Park shopping centre in a 2900sqm building.
