Police made six arrests in the resort over the weekend, including that of a 42-year-old man on a charge of assault with intent to injure.
A police media adviser said the other arrests, all of which occurred on Friday evening or early on Saturday, were of a male (27) charged with assault and wilful damage, a male (25) charged with wilful damage, and a male (28) on a charge of common assault.
Police made two other arrests for bail breaches.All those arrested are expected to appear in the Queenstown District Court today.
