Police have released the name of the man who was killed in a crash near Lake Tekapo yesterday.
Police said Gregory James Hormann (59) of Fairlie, was killed in a car and truck crash on Fairlie-Tekapo Rd, 2km south of the lake, just after 7am.
Mr Hormann was the driver of the car, the truck driver was flown to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
