A motorcycle rider has died after a crash in Timaru this afternoon.
Police said the Pacific St crash, which involved a car and a motorcycle, was reported about 2.50pm.
Police confirmed this evening the motorcyclist had died after the crash.
"The Serious Crash Unit has been notified and the circumstances of the crash will be investigated."
The road is now clear.
