A truck and minivan have collided on SH1 south of Timaru.
Police said in a statement that emergency services were called to the crash at Pareora at 12.18pm.
Initial reports indicated there were no significant injuries.
Diversions were in place at Munro Rd heading south and Lyall Rd/Sullivan Rd heading north and motorists are advised to avoid the area if they can.
