Canterbury police say the death of a 44-year-old man in Waimate at the weekend is not suspicious.
Emergency services were called to a Belt St address at 7.30pm on Saturday, when the dead man was found.
He was Micheal James Parker, of Waimate.
Police said a post-mortem and scene examination were completed yesterday and the death will be referred to the Coroner.
