The first wave of more than 900 off-road motorcycle riders heads away at the start on the 16th annual Lakes to Sea trail ride for off-road bikes and ATVs at Milton on Saturday.

The ride was 140km long and took all day, with a break at Chrystalls Beach for lunch and fuel.

The Lake to Sea Trail Ride saw riders on off-road and quad bikes travel from just north of Milton to the sea at Toko Mouth and back.
