Fire services are attending a bushfire near Milton.Fire communications shift manager Andrew Norris said Milton fire services were alerted to a blaze on the hillside at Glenore shortly after 6pm tonight.
However, the Milton Fire Brigade was unable to reach the fire as it was high on the hillside, and it has been handed over to the Waihola Rural Fire authority.
A fire appliance and tanker was in attendance.
There was no further information available.
