Police have released the name of the man who died after a crash near Clinton in South Otago on Sunday.
He was David Erin Willing (56).
Emergency services were called to the scene, on SH93, 3km out of Clinton, shortly after 2pm, where a car and a motorcycle crashed.
Constable Andrew Denny, of Balclutha, earlier told Fairfax Mr Willing was travelling from Mataura to Clinton on a motorcycle which collided on a bend with a car going in the opposite direction.
Enquiries into the crash are continuing.
