A new principal for South Otago High School has been announced.
Joanne Hutt, of Invercargill, will start her new role at the beginning of term 4. She is at present the deputy principal at Southland Boys' High School.
Board of trustees chairman Brent Gardner said the board felt Ms Hutt had all the necessary attributes to lead the school.
She fills the vacancy created by Nick Simpson, who left the job last month.
