Clutha young people are encouraged to ''get dotted'' at free seminars on personal empowerment later this month.
''Dots - Telling It Like It Is For Funky Young People'' is a three-hour communication seminar by professional speaker Amy Scott.
Three sessions have been organised by the Clutha District Youth Council, with funding from the Ministry of Youth Development's Partnership Fund and South Otago Victim Support.
The sessions will be held at Telford from 9am to noon; 1pm to 4pm; and 7pm to 10pm on February 24.
They are targeted at 12 to 24-year-olds, but any interested parents, teachers or other people working with young people in the community were welcome to attend, community support and development adviser Jean Proctor said.
Attendance is free, and some transport from main townships across the district is provided.
