One person was flown to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition after a vehicle crashed near Heriot, West Otago, this morning.
The vehicle rolled and it is understood it was on private property.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand was called about 4.50am.
St John Ambulance confirmed a helicopter was used to take a seriously injured patient to hospital in Dunedin.
