The search for the 79-year-old Romahapa man who went missing last Wednesday continued yesterday.
The hunt for Ian Mathieson has yielded little information about his disappearance since his car was found abandoned in a paddock on a Carterhope farm.
Sergeant Martin Bull said a limited number of searchers in the field followed up on specific clues yesterday while others reviewed the previous five days of the search.
''Most of the people who have been working over the last few days are having a day's break, but we've still got a couple of searchers out there.''
Search and rescue teams have urged farmers near the Carterhope area to check outbuildings and windbreaks.
