Three people have been injured after a car crashed off SH1 and into a ditch near Milton this afternoon.
A police spokesman said it was called to the single vehicle crash on Waihola Highway, near the intersection with West Rd, about 4.30pm.
Three people were being transported to Dunedin Hospital by St John ambulance.
A St John spokesman said two people had moderate injuries while one sustained serious injuries.
The car ended up in a ditch and did not block traffic.
