A police spokesman confirmed to the Otago Daily Times AOS were taking part in the pre-planned warrant as a precaution.

A reporter at the scene said there were five police cars, a police van, as well as officers and AOS members involved in a search of a property on Ontario St.

The police and AOS members could be seen going in and out of the house.
