The National Party will select its candidate this Wednesday for the Clutha-Southland seat at a meeting in Winton.
The contest is between former Queenstown mayor Vanessa van Uden, Dunedin man Hamish Walker and WorkSafe New Zealand employee Nick Perham.
The position was vacated when MP Todd Barclay said he would not seek re-election over allegations he secretly recorded a former staff member.
