A police operation to find a missing boatie in Fiordland National Park is set to continue today, depending on weather conditions.

Invercargill police have been looking for one person after a boat went missing with two people aboard on Lake Hauroko on May 31.

A woman's body was found the next day but a man remains missing.

Invercargill police Sergeant Ian Martin said six members of the Police National Dive Squad and four members of the Invercargill Search and Rescue team would take part in the search operation, at the southern end of the lake.

He also said the two people involved in the incident, who were in their 60s, were believed to be from Christchurch.

Police have asked anyone who found debris to contact them.
