Two men have been charged with manslaughter after a fatal crash in Invercargill last year.
The 20-year-old men appeared yesterday in the Invercargill District Court in relation to the accident on December 8.
The crash killed Emma Joyce Bagley (37) and left her husband Leonard Bagley fighting for his life in hospital. Their two young children, Eva and Flynn, sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered serious injuries.
The crash happened at the intersection of Newcastle and Clifton Sts, in Windsor.
One of the men, both of whom have name suppression, faces 10 charges, including manslaughter, driving with excess blood-alcohol and recklessly causing injury.
The second man faces four charges: manslaughter and three of recklessly causing injury.
Both are expected to appear in the High Court at Invercargill on June 18.
