One person has died following a crash involving a dirt bike on Knutsford Rd, Bald Hill in Southland.
The crash was reported to police at 3.23pm.
The person died at the scene, which is west of Invercargill.
A St Johns spokesperson confirmed they sent out three ambulances to the scene and a helicopter, which was stood down.
Police inquiries are under way.
