A person has been injured in a crash between a car and a van near Tuatapere in Southland this morning.
Police said the crash occurred on the Otautau-Tuatapere road near Devery Rd at 7:05am.
One person was believed to be injured, and a helicopter had been dispatched from Queenstown. The extent of the injuries was not known.
The road was not blocked.
