Snow has disrupted travel on one southern highway today and there are warnings for two other key roads.
The NZ Transport Agency has advised that the Milford road (State Highway 94) will be open from noon until 4.30pm today then close overnight owing to snow.
The road was closed for a time this morning.
MetService says that snow is likely to fall on the Lindis Pass (SH8) and the Crown Range road this evening.
