Three hurt in train-car collision

Three people were injured when a car and freight train collided in Gore yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash on Bury St shortly after 1pm.

A St John spokesman said one person with moderate injuries was taken to Gore Hospital.

Two others were treated for minor injuries on site.
