One person was seriously injured and another received moderate injuries, in a two-car crash near Lorneville, north of Invercargill, shortly before 11am today.
Two ambulances went to the scene, on the Lorne-Dacre Rd, apparently about a kilometre from the Lorneville roundabout, emergency services said.
The two patients were taken to Southland Hospital.
