Fundraiser postponed

Volunteer firefighter Elise Stables has postponed her Three Peaks charity fundraiser today until June 4.

Miss Stables has been training to fly helicopters and must sit her flight tests this weekend.

Next Saturday morning she will don her full firefighting kit and aim to summit Mt Isthmus (1386m), Mt Roy (1578m) and Mt Iron (548m) in one day as a fundraiser for CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Research Trust, a 36.5km venture.
