Two more high-profile acts have been announced by Wanaka Festival of Colour artistic director Sophie Kelly before a full 2025 programme announcement in January.

Last month, the festival announced it had secured performances by the Canadian circus production, Animal, by Cirque Alfonse.

This week, it also announced the British-based cabaret, An Evening Without Kate Bush, by Sarah-Louise Young and Russell Lucas, which reviewers have described as "utterly hilarious, beautifully constructed and clever".

Reimagining Mozart, a Chamber Music New Zealand and Voices New Zealand production by Robert Wiremu (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Porou) will be directed by Dr Karen Grylls.

It commemorates the tragedy of Air New Zealand Flight TE901 to Antarctica.

Wānaka’s Festival of Colour runs from March 29-April 6.
