Wearing her unicorn uniform

Warm spring conditions attracted hundreds of young Wanaka people in fancy dress to the Treble Cone Ski Area’s closing day yesterday,  including Nova Arnott (8) dressed as a unicorn.

Field manager Toby Arnott said it was decided not to continue  with the season, despite a forecast of more snow this week, because the snow was disappearing rapidly in the warm weather and most of the 200 staff had plans to move on.
