A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with a car on the West Coast today.
The accident occurred about 12.45pm on a bend on State Highway 7, between Reefton and Blacks Point.
The sole occupant of the car, a Reefton local, was unharmed, police said.
Serious Crash Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash and police are seeking to contact next of kin.
SH7 is closed between Reefton and Blacks Point.
Police hope to have the road cleared by about 3pm.
