A young man sustained serious injuries after he rolled his car into a ditch on the West Coast this morning.
Emergency services were called about 4.30am to a scene on SH67 near Granity, north of Westport.
The teenage male driver was the sole occupant of the station wagon.
He sustained serious injuries and was flown to Grey Base Hospital.
An investigation is under way.
