A sprinkle of spring rain did not dampen spirits at the Balclutha Saleyards last Wednesday.

Rural Livestock’s Otago livestock manager Hamish Loe said prices were steady and there was good clearance. He said sheep prices were back a fraction on the previous week’s sale, but good cattle sold well.

Reporter Ella Stokes went along for a look.
