Omarama dog trialling legend Ginger Anderson has claimed another title, winning the South Island short head and yard championship.

Anderson and his dog, Boss, then placed fourth in the New Zealand championship at the same event, which was held last week at Blenheim. Guy Peacock and Chief, from Dannevirke, won the national title.

Taieri man Graham White will again manage the New Zealand  team to compete in Australia in October. It comprises Andy Clark/Girl (Canterbury), Merv Utting/Prince (Poverty Bay), Peacock/Chief and Graeme Brier/Sumo (King Country). Mark Copland/Zoe (Canterbury) is non-travelling reserve.
