Mrs Kenny, who recently died from cancer, was remembered for her many years of hard work and commitment to the club.
Mrs Kenny’s son, Jimmy Kenny, said he was humbled to see his mother honoured by the Lawrence community.
‘‘Mum was very heavily involved in a few clubs over the years and she did her time as secretary and treasurer on the rodeo committee.
‘‘Both Mum and Dad have been pretty active members of this community. I spent my childhood arriving early and leaving late from the various events they were involved in,’’ he said.
‘‘It’s been amazing how supportive this community has been since she passed away. She’s left a very big hole in our lives, that’s for sure.’’
