Olympics gold medallist Valerie Adams has continued her dominant form by winning the shot put at a Grand Prix Diamond League Meeting in Birmingham, Great Britain.
New Zealander Adams won with a best throw of 20.52m, her first in a sequence of 20.18m, 20.25m, a foul, 20.21m and 20.49m.
American Michelle Carter was second with a best throw of almost two metres behind Adams.
Last week Adams won the Lausanne Diamond League meeting with a best throw of 20.95m, with Carter second again.
