Manager Ken Reinsfield said Cameron - who weighed at 97.4kg when he fought Monte Barrett at heavyweight in July - would make the 90.7kg cruiserweight limit "a piece of cake".
However, there could be drama if Cameron doesn't come in considerably under that. During negotiations, Cameron's handlers agreed with the Green camp that he would drop to under 89kg.
Reinsfield said he was "contractually bound" not to talk about the matter.
Cameron, however, spoke freely about the arrangement.
"Yeah, it's the Danny Division and it's been around for a little while," he said.
Green was unrepentant yesterday: "It's the catch-weight and it's been going on forever. Sugar Ray Leonard did it against Donny Lalonde and Tommy Hearns ... Manny Paquaio, Floyd Mayweather have all fought catch-weight," Green said.
"I'm the one putting my balls on the line fighting a heavyweight. I'm just trying to square the advantage that he's got as a much bigger, naturally-stronger man.
"We agreed it wouldn't happen anywhere over 89kg."
It is not clear whether the agreement is binding, and Reinsfield certainly didn't seem bothered.
"Shane is looking unbelievable ... to me he is no less powerful than when he was at heavyweight.
"He's tapering down now. His body is recovering from the hammering he took in sparring. He is ripped to bits and he is fizzing."
Cameron has said he expects to weigh about 93kg to 94kg by the time he enters the ring tomorrow night. Green began his career fighting at 73kg but has been as heavy as 90kg, for his defeat by Antonio Tarver last July.
