Auckland U19 in box seat

Auckland lead Otago by 198 runs with seven wickets in hand after two days of their three-day game at the national under-19 tournament in Lincoln.

They posted 300 for six declared in their first dig and were 170 for three at stumps on day two in response to Otago's first innings knock of 272 for seven declared.

Mason Gain top-scored for Otago with 70, while Lochie Mavor took three wickets in the first innings.
