Cricket: Rain delays day four in Perth

A heavy downpour in Perth has delayed the start of the fourth day of the first Test between Australia and South Africa at the WACA Ground.

Play is scheduled to start at 1140 local time, a delay of 10 minutes, with Australia to resume at 7-228, an overall lead of 322.

Brad Haddin is unbeaten on 39 and Jason Krejza 29 not out.

A shower or two with a risk of a thunderstorm during the day has been forecast for Perth on Saturday, with a projected maximum of 23 degrees.
