South Africa have broken several records after reaching 408 for five against the West Indies.

Captain AB de Villiers hit the West Indian bowlers to all areas of the park to finish on 166 off just 67 balls - the quickest 150 in ODI history. His innings included eight sixes and 17 fours including hitting 34 off an over by Jason Holder.

De Villiers went from 100 to 150 in just 12 balls after earlier bringing up his 20th ODI century in 52 balls.

Hashim Amla (65), Faf du Plessis (62) and Rilee Rossouw (61) all made half centuries near the top of the order before their skipper weaved his magic.

South Africa's total is the highest on Australian soil.
