New Zealand A have slumped to their second heavy loss to India A, again undone by the spin of their hosts.

The tourists lost by an innings and 26 runs on the fourth and final day of their match in Vijayawada.

Jeet Raval (47) and skipper Henry Nicholls (94) had started the day with their side at 104-1, but once Raval went, the Kiwis lost wickets rapidly to be all out for 210.

Spinners Karn Sharma (5-78) and Shahbaz Nadeem (4-41) were the main destroyers.

New Zealand A are struggling for traction in India after falling to an innings and 31-run defeat in their opening first-class match against India A last week.

The two teams will also play five one-day matches, beginning on Friday.
