Stags take charge against Volts

Central Districts have got into a commanding position thanks to a 166-run stand for the third wicket on the final day of their Plunket Shield match against Otago at the University Oval today.

The visitors slumped to 26 for two before Ross Taylor (89 not out) and Will Young (83) turned the innings around.

Central need 125 runs to win with a minimum of 30 overs remaining.
