Football fans keen to get their hands on tickets for the Fifa Under-20 World Cup final are out of luck - the showpiece event has completely sold out.
The final will kick-off at Auckland's North Harbour Stadium on June 20 after the third and fourth placed play-off.
It is the largest football tournament ever staged in New Zealand and the groundswell of Kiwi enthusiasm has not disappointed organisers.
Tickets for the final have been in hot demand since they went on sale, organising committee chief executive Dave Beeche said.
"It is great to see Kiwis really getting behind this celebration of global football," he said.
"We have had great crowds enjoying some great quality football all over the country and with the knock-out rounds starting tomorrow it's only going to get better."
Sports fans were encouraged to nab tickets for the semifinal matches instead, which will be held on June 17 in Auckland and Christchurch.
