Queenstown golfer Greg Turner finished fifth-equal at the Swiss Senior Open in Bad Ragaz yesterday.
Turner finished three shots behind winner Jean-Francois Remesy, of France, after he had led the tournament in the first round.
He hit a 65 on the first day and shared the lead with two others only to drop back on the second day following a 71.
He finished with an encouraging 66 on the last day to have 202 for the tournament.
With the top-10 finish, Turner has moved up to be 25th on the European Senior Tour order of merit.
He has played four tournaments and won just under €26,000 ($NZ44,000).
